Description |
'Plan of the Bass and Saw Mills Dam, with part of Leven River'. Surveyor: Robert Mitchell. [1:900] 1 inch = 1 Scots Chain. 390 mm x 316 mm. Ink and coloured wash on paper. Linen backed.
Plan of the area surrounding the dam in the Leven River at the Saw Mill. Shows location of dam, islands, channels, a cairn of large stones, an area of gravel and small stones, and folding boards. Surrounding land labelled as Mr Robertson's Feu, Mr Wemyss of Wemyss Ground, Mr Gibson's Ground. Road to Leven is noted. Note relating to the addition of folding boards between marked points AA to manage water levels. Scale given. |
