Description |
'Reduced plan of Blairdrummond Moss representing the several districts with the different possessions ineach'. Engraved by W Archibald, Edinburgh. Published by A Constable and Co Edinburgh. [1:18,800] 1 in = 21 Scottish chains 37 x 18 cm. Engraving. Plan showing proposed division into eight sections and numerous subdivisions, each with a cottage. Roads, rivers, great wheel, water leads, reservoir and area owned by Robert Neilson noted. Mr Graham of Meiklewood named as an adjacent proprietor. Noted as made "four years ago" in 1817 (probably from plan of Wilson, 1795, with addition). |
