'Reduced plan of the survey of the commons of Milbuy, Cromarty, etc'. By Peter Brown. Lithographed by James Anderson, Edinburgh, in 1819. [1:14,300] 1 inch = 16 Scottish chains. 1612 x 394 mm. Lithograph. Linen backing. Detailed plan of the commonty of Millbuie extending from Muir of Ord to Muirton [NH7463] showing the arable lands of Balvaird, Tarradale, Spital, Garguston, Upper Kinkell, Knockbain, Coldhome and Back Well. Numerous other farms shown. Land use indicated - arable, parture, moor, moss, improveable ground and woodland with types of trees given. Names of tenants and adjacent owners. Roads, quarries, schools, cairns and wells noted. Parts of Urquhart and Logie Wester, Killearnan, Knockbain, Avoch, Resolis, Rosemarkie and Urray parishes included. |
