'Plan and sections of a slip to be erected at Crovie'. By D & T Stevenson, Edinburgh. [1:240] 1 in = 20 ft 73 x 63 cm High and low water marks, Crovie burn and its channel between high and low water, the rock to be excavated, the village of Crovie and the 'site to which the boats are drawn up' noted. Cross-section of proposed concrete slip [scale 1:36] showing low water mark at ordinary spring tides and the amount of excavation needed.Longitudinal section of slip [scale 1:120] showing relief of seabed, low and high water marks at ordinary spring tides and the proposed slip. Inset showing position of Crovie on Banffshire coast. Endorsed by C Cecil Trevor, Board of Trade, 16 February 1884 when giving permission for work to be carried out.
