'Reduced plan of the South Muir of Liftie'. By Thomas Allan. William Bell, surveyor, sculpt.
[1:3100] 1 inch = 3.5 Scottish chains 466 x 606 mm. Engraving. Linen backing, Compass rose.
Plan of the scheme of divisin of the South Moor of Liftie coloured to show the boundaries of the parts owned by Mr Kinloch, Mr Brown, William Goodlet and the feuars [of Kirriemuir]. Acreages gives. All cottages on or near the moor noted and owner or tenant named. Old and new roads, points of reference on the boundary and stream noted. Adjacent lands and proprietors named including James Duthie, Mr Brown [of Glaswell], Mr Kinloch [of Muirhead] and several feuars. Table of contents. Endorsed by the surveyor and Peter Rankin, Commissioner, as to validity of plan. |
