'Sketched Eye draught Hutton commonty Conform to Proof'. By John and James Tait.
[1:8900] No scale given. 460 x 570 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing.
Division of commonty plan with areas in dispute coloured. Mosses and names of adjacent owners noted. Note 1: 'The feu pits mentioned in the proof are marked with asterisks, and the named of Places wrote at them[sic]'. Note 2: 'The Marches of this Commonty Include part of the Commonty of Sibbaldbie according to the March thereofshewn to the Commissioners 12th May 1763 Which March so far as it falls within Hutton Common is sketched here as also the two places where the witnesses Differedon ,,, The Names of the said places and the witnesses who shewed them should have been... but can not without that proof'. |
