[1:7900] 1 in = 10 [Imperial] chains 73 x 52 cm Plan coloured to show the various roads from Harlaw Muir farmhouse to Linton, claimed by Sir George Clerk and Sir George Montgomery. Farms of Deanfoot, Nether Whitfield, Deepsykehead, Stell, Harlawmuir, Harbour Craig, Kitleyknowe, Carlops Muir, South Mains, Rutherford Castle, Carpet, Hartside, West Mains, Fairslacks, Stonypath and Leadlaw, limestone quarry, freestone quarry, coal pits and workings, colliers' houses, land on moor which was once tilled, ditches, streams and boundary between Sir George Clerk and Sir George Montgomery noted. Relief by brush wash. Note of distances of alternative routes. |
