Description |
'Scheme of division of the commonty of Benachie'. By James Forbes Beattie. Lithographed by Keith and Gibb, Aberdeen. [1:14,300] 1 inch = 18 Imperial chains 620 x 420 mm. Lithograph. Annotated in ink. Linen backing. Compass rose. Plan of the scheme of division coloured to show each proprietor's allotment, there being 9 lots owned by Sir Andrew Leith Hay and son, Henry Lumsden, Robert Grant for proprietors of Ardoyne, Sir James D H Elphinstone, Colonel K Erskine, Colonel Charles Leslie, Sir J Grant, Robert Grant of Tillyfour and Lord Forbes, and a section of moss divided among Sir J Grant, Hugh Lumsden, Pitgaveny farm, Shand's Trustees, William Leslie, Col Leslie, Col Erskine, minister and school, Sir A L Hay and son, T Gordon, Lord Forbes, Grant's Trustees, Henry Lumsden and farms of Premnay and Harlow. Acreage of each lot given and total contents. Notes signed by James F Beattie referring to the use of this plan in the Court of Session. Based on plan RHP 3940 with relief by rough hachuring.
