Description |
'New scheme of division of the commonty of Benachie'. Surveyed by James Forbes Beattie. Lithographed by Keith & Gibb, Aberdeen. [1:16200] 1 inch = 18 [Scots] chains. 470 x 670 mm. Lithograph. Annotated in ink. Linen backing. Compass rose. Plan of the commonty showing the lots of division with annotations of owners' names. The Black Hill, The Hermit's Seat, The Hummel Craig, Little Owen Craig, Bruntwood Top, Little John's Length, Nether Maiden, Craiginathunder, Cairn Couty, Pitgaveny, Turf Hill, Hill of Tillymuick, Bogend, and the Fir Park shown. Buildings, gravel pits, marches, dykes, burns, and cairns noted. Neighbouring lands shown. 'Extent of common lands 4042 acres, 2 ro., 12 po'.
