Description |
'Plans of the estate of Invercauld in Aberdeenshire, the property of James Farquharson, Esq, from surveys thereof made during the years 1807, 8 and 9'. By George Brown, land surveyor.
The volume originally contained eighty-four plans of farms on Invercauld's Aberdeenshire estate, but No 1 (Aberdeen haugh) is missing. Common elements of the pland include infiels-outfield lands with acreages and comments on soil fertility and vegetation, with some fields named. Steadings, yards, gardens, roads and rivers noted. Adjacent lands and proprietors named. Table of contents. Relief by brush wash. NB There is no plan reference RHP3897/1. |
