'Plan of the River Tay between Bolfracks and Tay Bridge'. By James Jardine [1: 5400] 1 in = 6 Scottish chains 85 x 57 cm Plan of part of the River Tay showing the existing and the 'Old Water Course'. Plantations, fields, roads, tributaries of the Tay, ford, ferry, Tay Bridge, Castle Menzies offices, the village of Weem, and farms including Dalrawer, Dunacree and Bolfracks noted. Land to north of river owned by Sir Neil Menzies and to south by the Marquess of Breadalbane with the exception of part of a former island which had been shared between the two owners. Note: 'Edinburgh 31 December 1833. This is the plan referred to in my Report of this date. James Jardine'. |
