Division of commonty plan coloured to show the scheme of division. Table of contents naming proprietors (Duke of Buccleuch, John Crichton, George Whigham, Mr Hamilton, William Broom) and nine lesser claimants, the claim in soums, and the allocation given to each in Scots acres. Sanquhar loch, spring, rivers, hills and roads noted. Relief by brush wash.Adjacent lands and owners named including Duke of Buccleuch, Mr Williamson, Mr Whigham, Mr Crichton, Mr Broom and Mr Hamilton. Letters added later to correspond to a rough key denoting a pond, stable, steadings, etc in north-west section of plan. |
