Estate plan showing Gallangad House, plantations, and farms including Gallangad, Haugh and Gartlea. Field boundaries shown with acreages and land use noted - arable, moss, moorish pasture, meadow, and hill pasture. Rivers, roads, peat banks and lime craigs noted. Adjacent estates and owners named including William Buchanan, James Ewing, Mrs McDonald of Ross, Miss McGowan and S Woodfield. The southern boundary was 'fixed by Sheriff Allason per award H James Ewing Esq. The Magistrates of Dumbarton (award signed 25th Feb. 1839)'. |
