'Plan of Dumbarton Muir with the disputed marches between the town of Dumbarton and Mr McGoun and others'. [1:19,000] 1 inch = 21 Scottish chains. 380 x 460 mm. Engraving. Linen backing. Compass rose. Engraved plan of the commonty of Dumbarton Muir with the boundaries both fixed and in dispute shown. Drove road, road to Drymen, fords, rivers, cairns and hills noted. Adjacent lands and owners named including Lord Blantyre, Isaac Buchanan, Mr McDonald Buchanan, Mr Campbell, Sir Archibald Edmonston, Mr Glasford, Mr Graham, Mr Hamilton, Mr Lang, Mr McGoun and John Monach. Rashilea and Greenside, which were feus from the town of Dumbarton, and the Muir of Colquhoun noted. Table of contents. Relief by hachures. Perspective view of Lang Craig. |
