Description |
'Magdalene Yard and lands adjoining'. By David Neave, architect, Dundee. [1:1080] 1 inch = 90 ft. 710 x 1240 mm. Ink and colour wash. Compass rose. Linen backing. Urban plan of the Magdalene Yard on the north side of the River Tay and adjoining feus from Blackness and lands of Crescent belonging to Mrs Watt extending to the turnpike road leading from Perth to Dundee. Noted are feuars roads; rope works; rocks; high ground; pleasure walks; toll; buildings in plan; Shepherd's Loan; and lands belonging to James Baxter, John Hanton, heirs of the late William Porter and town of Dundee. Table of references explaining letters marked on the plan. |
