Description |
'Plan of the estates of Barnbougle and Dalmenie belonging to the Earl of Rosebery'. By John Ainslie [1:3600] 1 in = 4 Scottish chains. 4621 x 1268 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Very fine estate plan extending from River Almond to Queensferry showing Dalmeny House, policies and farms. Field-names and acreages given. Dalmeny village, church, glebe, green, Hawes Inn, runrig lands of Queensferry, common, Coble, Easter Craig slit mill, dams and Cramond Bridge noted. Table of contents. Relief by grey brush wash. Names of adjacent lands and proprietors including Dundas of Dundas and Hope of Craigie Hall. |
