'Plan of the lands and barony of Findon as subdivided in 1784 and as now possessed by James Dyce Nicol, Esq, and others, defenders in process of augmentation, modification and locality, at the instance of the Rev William Paul, D D, minister of Banchory, Devenick, against the heritors of the parish. Reduced from the Ordnance Survey by G Cooper Roger, Aberdeen'. Lithographed by Mould & Tod, Edinburgh. [1:6300] 1 in = 8 Imperial chains 94 x 59 cm on sheet 72 x 102 cm. Hand coloured. Lithograph. Linen backing. Estate plan coloured to show lots including Seatown of Findon, Mains of Findon, Synod's lands, Mill of Findon, East and West Cookston, Badentoy, Redmire, Bishopston, Hare Moss and three reserved mosses. Steadings, field boundaries, railway line and roads noted. Endorsed 'Edinburgh 10 june 1868. Referred to in my disposition as a witness for Mr Dyce Nicol in process of augmentation etc of the Stipend of the parish of Banchory Devenick. John Purves, Jas Arthur Crichton, Com.' |
