Description |
Plan of Kinloch, the property of Andrew Thomson, Esq. By Henry Jackson. [1:3600] 1 in = 4 Scottish chains 820 x 1620 mm. Dissected into 2 sheets. Ink and colourwash. Linen backing. Compass rose. Estate plan extending from Denhead to Monkstown showing fragmented estate of Kinloch. Fields numbered to correspond with field-names, acreages and land use given in table of contents. Kinloch House and gardens, Cornhill, Trafalgar, Stoneybriggs, Giffordtown feus and Monkstown noted. Adjacent lands of Captain Cheape, Charles Kinnear and William Johnston indicated. Endorsed 'Edinburgh 3 November 1834. This is the plan of the Lands and Estate of Kinloch referred to in Disposition of the two upper Lots thereof executed by me as Trustee of the late Andrew Thomson, Senr. & Junr., Esq. in favour of Charles Kinnear, Esq., of Kinloch of this date.
