Description |
'Plan of the estate of Errol, in the Carse of Gowrie.' By Maclure and Macdonald, lithographers, Glasgow. [1:7467] 1 inch = 622 feet. 756 x 560 mm. Lithograph. Hand coloured. Annotated in ink. Compass rose. Estate plan showing proposed bulwark and new shoreline at Errol and Daleally, Perthshire. Noted are the reclaimable foreshore and breakwaters, as well as the village of Errol and surrounding farms: Loan of Errol, Errol House, North Bank, New Farm, Daleally, Port Allen and Balcalk; Pow of Errol and roads. Also noted are the boudaries with the lands of James Yeaman Milne, John Murray Drummond, David Balfour Hay and the Glover's Incorporation of Perth. Some detail of Errol village is missing. Table of contents shows acreage of properties and provides key to the coloured areas of the plan. |
