Farm plan of Paxtane showing steadings of Gibshill. Arable lands and moss indicated. Coal grieves, colliers' houses, coal pits (new and gin), great dyke, flax, (water) mill and road to Edinburgh noted. Separate table of contents giving field-names, acreages and land use. Names of adjacent lands and proprietors including Duke of Hamilton and Mr Baillie. Compass rose. Graphite decorative detail around title. |
