'Plan & section of a proposed new turnpike road leading from a point on the road from Dalmellington to New Cumnock near to the march of these two parishes, to a point near to Marchburn, in the said parishes of Dalmellington & New Cumnock. Sheet No. 1.' By James Campbell and James Paterson, surveyors, Ayr and Paterson & Mitchell, lithographers, Ayr.
[1:4800 and 1:480] 1 inch = 400 feet and inch = 40 feet. 839 x 683 mm. Lithograph. Compass rose. Bound.
Engineering plan and section of proposed turnpike road showing the route from the New Cumnock road in the parish of Dalmellington to the east of Beoch in New Cumnock parish. Noted are burns and old roads. The section shows the height and inclination of the road. Attested at Sheriff Clerk's Office, Ayr, 30 November 1846.
