'Sorious'. By [William Morison], surveyor.
[1:16250] 1 inch = 15 Scots chains. 315 x 453 on sheet 342 x 465 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash.
Plan of Sorious, parish of Glenelg, Inverness-shire, showing the proposed ditches and dykes for enclosing land between Loch Nevis, Carnoch, Glendefsary and General Frazer's lands. Noted are burns, cultivated land, 'broken shelving rocks', 'good pasture near the burn' and 'frightful precipices along this side of the hill'. Table 'Expence of inclosing'. |
