Description |
'Barre' By [William Morison], surveyor. [1:18215] 1 inch = 20.5 Scots chains. 313 x 456 mm on sheet 336 x 466 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash. Plan of Barre, parish of Kilmallie, Inverness-shire showing the proposed stone dyke, head dyke and mid dyke running along the march with Strone, from the Strone march to land on the other side of Altcorylean (Allt Coire an Lightiann) and from that point to the Water of Loy, enclosing arable land. Noted are Inneruiskevulen (Inverskilavulin), Eracht (Errocht or An Eireachd), Murshierlich (Muirshearlich), Corpach, Corylean (Coire an Lightiann) and Auchnaherie (Achnaherie). A table for 'Expence of inclosing' is given. |
