Description |
'Banavy' By [William Morison], surveyor. [1:17760] 1 inch = 20 Scots chains. 317 x 457 mm on sheet 339 x 468 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash. Plan of Banavy (Banavie), parish of Kilmallie, Inverness-shire showing the head dyke, a feal fyke, between Corpach at Upper Banavy (Upper Banavie) and Mursherlich (Muirshearlich) at Shengan burn (Allt Sheangain) 'to secure the wintertown'; and the cross dyke from the head dyke to the River Lochy. Noted are the march burns, extending from the River Lochy to Barre at Drimfad (Druim Fada), Dalvoor, Dalhengan (Dail Sheangain). A table for 'Expence of inclosing' is given. |
