Description |
'Ballachelish' By [William Morison], surveyor. [1:11840] 1 inch = 13.3 Scots cshains. 315 x 455 mm on sheet 336 x 468 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash. Plan of Ballachelish (Ballachulish), parish of Lismore and Appin, Argyllshire showing the proposed stone dyke on the march with Onich; proposed feal dykes on the march with Callart; and from the march with Onich to the burn at Shanaval (Seanvaile or Sean Bhaile), enclosing the 'wintertown'. Noted is the ferryman's ground, Loch Leven, Sallachule (Sealladhcuil) cultivated ground and some wooded land. A table for 'Expence of inclosing' is given. |
