Description |
'Auchnasaul' By [William Morison], surveyor. [1:17760] 1 inch = 20 Scots chains. 313 x 455 mm on sheet 340 x 467 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash. Plan of Auchnasaul (Achnasaul or Achadh nan Sabhal) showing the proposed enclosure with stone dykes along the march burn with Crieff, enclosing the arable and 'best pasture' and a stone dyke 'securing the lower part of the Water of Kiag (Abhainn Chia-aig) on the marches with Clunes and Achnacary (Achnacarry). Noted are the lengths of the stone dykes, Loch Araig (sic) (Loch Arkaig), woodland, Glentarsnen (Glen Tarsuinn), Gelchard (Geal Chàrn)and Carnury (Carn na h-Urchaire). A table for 'Expence of inclosing' is given. |
