Description |
'Auchindarroch' By [William Morison], surveyor. [1:10723] 1 inch = 12 Scots chains. 317 x 455 mm on sheet 340 x 466 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash. Plan of Auchindarroch (Achindarroch), parish of Appin, Argyllshire, showing proposed stone dyke on the march with Glen Duror at Altnamerlach; the proposed feal dyke running between the Water of Duror on the march with Acharn (Acharan) and through Widow's Division to the march burn Eisnacaon (Eas a' Choin) beside a house and school; and feal dyke on the 'Leid Drein' (lead drain) o the boundary with Coul (Cuil). Noted are corn and grass lands; the burns Lealt, Altgoriencruey and Altnintorfen, and the boundary with Lagnaha. A table for 'Expence of inclosing' is given. |
