Description |
'Auchar' By [William Morison], surveyor. [1:10524] 1 inch = 11.9 Scots chains. 317 x 456 mm on sheet 340 x 466 mm. Ink and colour wash. Relief in grey wash. Plan of Auchar (Acharra), parish of Appin, Argyllshire, showing the proposed feal dyke 'to secure the Wintertown' from the march with Keill (Keil) to the stone dyke at the march with Acharra; corn land; and a stone dyke. Noted are Duror Water, Inshaig, a disputed march, woodland, cultivated terrain and buildings. A table for 'Expence of inclosing' is given. |
