'The plann of the New Towne of Callender in Monteith belonging to his grace the Duke of Perth drawen att fife to an inch of scale att Drummond Castle the 29th of Jully 1735 by [blank]'. Unattributed. Copied by William Cockburn for presentation to Commissioners of Forfeited Estates, 1755. Scale [1:3600] 1 inch = 5 Scottish falls. 530 x 360 mm. Ink and colour wash. Village plan of Callander showing proposed layout. Feuars' names, manse, church and bridge noted. |
