Description |
'Plan of the Estate of Jarvisfield situate in the island of Mull and County of Argyle Te property of Lachlan Macquarie Esq' [sic]. Surveyed in 1826 by Wm Baillie for Wm Blackadder.
[1:9500] 1 in = 12 Imperial chains. Eacl part 1428 x 1306 mm, total size 2856 x 1306 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing.
Detailed plan of the estate of Jarvisfield [Gruline] extending northwards from Loch Squabain along west bank of River Forsa to Salen and westwards to Sound of Ulva in Kilninian and Kilmore parish. Fields numbered to correspond with farms, acreages and land use given in extensive tables of contents. Mansion house and offices, steadings, shielings, manse, burial ground, Salen village, landing place, watermill and roads noted. Endorsed 'The proposed improvements referred to in the Report are hereon marked in red ink. Glammiss 16th June 1828. Wm Blackadder'. |
