Sketch for the improvement of Balgay, the seat of D Anderson, Esq, by W Nicol.
[1:1800] 1 inch = 2 [Scots] chains 377 x 772 mm. Ink and colourwash. Annotated in ink. Linen backing.
Plan of Balgay House and policy. Table of contents. Endorsed 'Dundee 2 August 1803. This is the plan referred to in a liferent disposition executed by me in favour of Mrs Elizabeth Read my spouse of this date ? D Anderson' and 'Edinburgh 21 October 1808. Recorded as a probative writ in the Books of Council and Session.' |
