Description |
Plan of the Estate of Drimnin, the property of Sir Charles Gordon. By David Wilson, land surveyor. [1:5200] 1 in = 6 ½ Imperial chains 144 x 108 cm Estate plan showing mansion house, policies and townships including Achleanan, Bonnavoulin, Glasdrum, Auliston, Portabhata, Sornagan, Poll Luachrain, Druimbuy, Doirlinn and East and West Oronsay. Enclosures superimposed on infield-outfield lands. Land use indicated - arable, pasture, wood and moor. Castle in ruins, inn, ferry, pier, watermill, schoolhouse and land in dispute between Drimnin and Glenmorven noted. Table of contents. Relief by grey brush wash and hachures. |
