Description |
'A sketch of the moor ground called the Long Hills.' Unattributed. Scale in Scottish chains. 865 x 540 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotated in graphite. Plan showing the area of Long Hills, covered in short heath with settlements and arable ground around it. Names of adjacent lands and owners. Relief shown pictorially. Features include: roads, buildings, rivers, and fields. Some calculations given. |
