'Morningside & Allanton Collieries. Ground damaged and occupied for Colliery purposes at Whits 1909'. Unattributed. 3/4 inch = 100 feet. 870 x 1032 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotated in graphite. Tracing linen. Plan of the collieries coloured to show ground damaged to be paid for by The United Collieries, by former tenants and ground to be occupied by Chapel Coal Co Ltd. Acreages given.. Tables of contents. Roads and buildings marked. Note: 'Edinburgh 6th February 1911. This is the Plan of damaged ground prepared by the Proprietor's Engineer referred to in the Lease dated Twenty Second Januaryand Tenth February Noneteen hundred and nine entered into between Sir Alan Henry Seton Stewart of Souch and Allerton, Bart, on the one part and the Chapel Coal Company Limited on the other part of the Coal and certain other minerals in part of the Estate of Allerton in the County of Lanark (signed) Tods Murray Jamieson, agents for Sir Alan H Seton Stuart.
