'No 5. Plan of Osmondwall previous to the division in 1823'. By Thomas Grainger, surveyor, Edinburgh.
[1:1800] 1 in = 2 Scottish chains 1240 x 920 mm Ink and colour wash. Compass rose. Linen backing.
Plan of runrig lands of Osmondwall including farms of Scarton, Newhouse, Newbigging, Lasquoy, Setter, Green, Butts, Dykeside, Burrowstown, Stoop, Old Hall, Nether House, Loft, Misbister, Booth and Storehouse. Steadings with tenants' names, old church, burying ground, commonty, watermill, dam and roads noted. Fields and rigs numbered to correspond with acreages and land use given in table of contents. Coloured to show ownership. Duplicate plan - RHP2901. |
