'Plan of the Crown Lands in Innertown ...'. By Craig and Taylor [1:2400] 1 inch = 3 Imperial chains 975 x 633 mm on sheet 990 x 661 mm. Ink and colour wash. Compass rose. Linen backing. Sheet with three plans: No 1, part of Innertown; No 2, the Links; and No 3, farm of Croval. Coloured to show land use - arable, pasture, infield common - and disputed ground. Castle, schoolhouse, steadings and some proprietors noted. Table of contents. Note: 'This is the plan No 1 of the lands of Innertown ... described at Lot eighth in the Articles and Conditions of Roup of the Crown lands in the parishes of Sandwick and Stromness by the Right Honourable Thomas Francis kennedy, one of the Commissioners of Her Majesty's Woods, etc., dated 27th July 1853 ...' |
