Description |
No title. By William Kyle, Glasgow. [1:2700] 1 inch = 220 feet. 2530 x 690 mm. Ink and colourwash. Annotated in ink and graphite. Linen backing. Plan of River Clyde from Bowling to Dumbarton Rock coloured to show new line of channel land other improvements. Details of frontages giving names of estates and proprietors. Fishing draughts, Forth and Clyde Canal, ruins of Dunglass Castle and dykes removed in July 1809 noted. Part of Erskine parish, Renfrewshire, included.
