'Hydraulic Coal Hoist to lift 35 or 20 tons through 55 feet 1 thus hoist No 7 1 thus but without pawl gear holding cradle No 14 hoist'. Armstrong Whitworth & Co. Ltd., engineers. Traced by M.T.H & A.H.D. Copied at Cowlairs Works
