'A Plan of the subjects in controversy between Sir James McDonald of McDonald baronet and Norman McLeod of McLeod, Esq, with the adjacent rocks, islands and coasts'. By James Richmond, surveyor. [1:18,000] 1 inch = 20 Scottish chains. 750 x 880 cm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Chart of coastline showing disputed rocks, which are named in table of contents. Buildings at Caolis (Kyle), Baloiphail, Clachan, Goulabay, Rymesgarry and Trumisgarry noted. Compass rose. 'Edinburgh 17th July 1776. This is the Plan referred to in an Interlocutor of this date in the mutual conjoined processes betwixt Sir Alexander Macdonald of Macdonald and Norman Macleod of Macleod and which plan is now marked by the Lord President in presence and by order of the Lords.
