'Cockburn. Reduced from a survey by John Blackadder, dated 1812'. By Alfred Lancefield [1:7900] 1 in = 10 Imperial chains 560 x 430 mm. Ink and colourwash. Farm plan of Cockburn and Cockburn East coloured to show land use - arable, pasture, plantation and rough grazing. Fields numbered to correspond with land use and acreages given in table of contents. Hill fort, Wooden's Hall (Edin's Hall, fort and broch), and mill lead noted. Names of adjacent lands and proprietors including Lord Douglas and Mr Turnbull. |
