Description |
'Plan of the common of Turnhouse Hill'. By James Knox. [1:3600] 1 inch = 4 Scots chains. 668 x 554 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Dicision of commonty plan coloured to show scheme of division. Head Stone 'which marks the Field of the Battle of Pentland Hills', Marchwell public house, Logan House, wells and road noted. Relief by grey wash. Revised marches made by John Legate, surveyor, in 1810 included. Engraved copy - RHP94 |
