Description |
'The annexed is (copy of) a Plan of the Hill of Altmore, lying in the Shire of Banff, and possessed in common betwixt His Grace the Duke of Gordon and the other Heritors in the Enzie, on the one part, and the Earl of Fife on the other, made out from a Survey taken thereof Summer 1788'. By [Thomas Milne]. [c 1:5400] No scale. 1007 x 1320 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotated in ink. Linen backing. Commonty plan coloured to show boundaries claimed by proprietors. Adjacent farms of Tarrymount, Upper Allaloth, Birrybauds, the Poor man and Whiterashes in Rathven parish; Fernking, Thieves Bush, Burn of Aultmore, Whitestones and Ardioch in Keith parish. Peat mosses, intakes, roads and slate quarry noted. Note. |
