Linen backing. Plan of farms south of Portgordon including Slackend, Hills, Broomhills, Slackhead, Glasterim, Boggend, Leitcheston and Broadlee. Land use indicated - arable, pasture, wood, improveable moor, sandy moor with whins and some runrig. Field boundaries with acreages and quality of ground. Steadings with occupants' names, church, harbour, lime kiln, pigeon houses, washinh house and turnpike roads noted. Names of adjacent landowners including George Steuart.
