[1:1800] 1 in = 2 Scottish chains. 1434 x 1059 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing.
Plan of Garmouth and adjacent runrig lands. Rigs numbered to correspond with book of reference [not located] and acreages and occupants' names given. Houses and yards numbered to correspond with list of tenants in references and coded to give their building materials and number of stories. Field-names given. Dead house, saw mill, Essel (water) Mill, washing house, old glebe of Essel, commonty, 'a common where boats are laid up', 'common moor where peat stacks are laid up', clay and mud pit and standing stones noted. Coloured. Pencilled notes. Engraved copy, damaged and undated, showing runrig lands but with houses of Garmouth omitted - RHP2435 |
