Description |
'Plan of the upper part of Speymouth'. By J J Roy. [1:2700] 1 in = 3 Scottish chains. 3194 x 1814 mm. Dissected into 4 sheets. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Plan of Boat of Burig, including the lands of the west bank of the River Spey from Mostodloch south to Bauds, Dipple, Orton, Garbity and the Barony of Inchberry, showing the 'old run of Spey'. General plan coloured to show boundaries of farms including Moss Todloch, Cowfords, Crofts of Dipple, Dipple, Beathill, Greens, Burnside, Hatton, in Speymouth parish; Barony of Inchberry, Brackenslack, Bogncurr, and Sheriffmuir in Rothes parish. Steadings, fields with acreages, wells, watermill, plantations, old glebe and 'old run of Spey' noted. Adjacent lands of Richard Wharton Duff named. Book of reference - CR8/172 and 178. |
