Description |
'Plan of excambion betwixt the trustees of the late Thomas Graham Esqr of Kinross and Revd Dr Geo Dalziel Craig Buchanan &c.' By Ebenezer Birrell, surveyor. [1: 1800] 1 inch = 2 Scots chains. 462 x 702 mm on sheet 498 x 716 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Partially edgebound. Plan of excambion of Kinross arable glebe and Kinross grass glebe marked in portions A-K. Shows the site of the arable glebe between the turnpike road from Perth to Edinburgh and the turnpike road between Alloa and Kinross, with the proposed new line of road. Noted are the boundary proprietors being a hayfield belonging to the Heritors of Kinross Parish, gound belonging to the Trustees of Kinross Estate, the school and school house, property belonging to the Burgher Congregation, William Kirkland and James Dowie. The grass glebe is bounded by Wester Clayhill Park. Noted are Kinross Jail, post Office, Kinross Manse, Hayfield House, Croft Park, lands of James Davidson, aqueduct to Kinross Mill and trees.
