'A plan of the farm of Nether Pirriesmill'. By Thomas Shier.
[1:1800] 1 in = [2 Scottish chains]. 648 x 574 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing.
Farm plan showing steadings, offices and Miller's Croft. Fields numbered to correspond with acreages and land use - arable and pasture - given in table of contents. Watermill, lead and dams noted. Names of adjacent farms. Note: 'All these parts tinged with blue are uncultivated ground, and most of it wet and boggy. But intended to be drained and cultivated.' |
