' A plan of the Lands and Barony of Newton Garrioch, belonging heritably to The Honble Sir Alexander Gordon of Lesmoir lying in the Parish of Drumblet and Shiriffdom of Aberdeen'. By Peter May, surveyor. [1:2700] 1 in = 3 Scottish chains. 2301 x 1091 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Estate plan of Newtongarry coloured to show farm boundaries - Blackblair, Back, Mid and Fore Garry, Loanhead, Crofts of Mosshead, Mains of Newtongarry, Boghead Back Slioch, Meet-hillock, Slioch, East and West Silver Hillock, Wet Wards and Brideswell. Mansion house, gardens and avenues shown. Infield-outfield lands with field-names and acreages. land use indicated - arable, pasture, moss and common grazing. Annotations giving quality of ground. Steadings with occupants' names. Township and market of Slioch, wells, ruins, lime quarry and 'uncultivate ground where the tenants of Slioch cast feal and divot and pasture promiscously' noted.
