(On reverse) 'Plan of the Mosses & Grounds in controversy betwict James Budge of Toftingall and David Sinclair of Southdun'. By David Key, gardener. [1:1350] 1 in = 1.5 Scottish chains. 452 x 585 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Plan of lands between Loch Watten and Loch Toftingall coloured to show disputed ground at Houstry of Dunn, Crofts of Dunn and Paddockfield. Knockglass, Auchnamoine, old house of Toftingall, backlass and Shill Hill of Knocklochie noted. Compass rose. Note: 'This is one of the plans which the other is an exact double of the ground in controversie betwixt David Sinclair of Southdun and James Bridge of Toftingall made by david Key, gardener to George Sinclair of Ulbster, authorised for that purpose by the Lords of Councill and Session ... and attested by James Sinclair of [blank] one of the Commissioners for the said David Sinclair and Benamen Williamsone of Banniskirk one of the Commissioners for the said James Bridge ...David Key.
