'Map of the County of Sussex from an actual survey made in the years 1823 & 1824 by C & I Greenwood'. By C. & I. Greenwood, surveyors. Engraver unattributed. Published in 1825 by Greenwood, Pringle & Co., London. 1 inch = 1 statute mile. Each sheet 687 x 765 mm, total plan size 1374 x 2295 mm. Engraving. Map of Sussex with farms, villages, and towns named, Buildings, roads, and rivers marked. Relief by hachures. Vignette with pictorial elevation of Chichester Cathedra. Explanation. Adjoining counties named. Compass rose. Dedication: 'Most respectfully dedicated to the Nobility, Clergy & Gentry of the county by the Proprietors Greenwood, Pringle & Co, No 13 Regent Street, Pall Mall, London'. |
